The Opportunity: Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking experienced CMOs In-Charge to support Emergency Departments across the region. This is a great option for senior CMOs who are confident leading busy ED shifts, supporting teams on the floor and managing a mix of presentations. You'll step into a valued role within a friendly regional hospital network, with flexible locum options starting immediately . Clinical Environment: Lead ED operations and support medical and nursing teams Independently manage a broad mix of acute emergency presentations A well-structured environment with reliable consultant backup Space to focus on good clinical care without metro-level pressures A nice mix of clinical leadership and hands-on practice Eligibility Criteria: General AHPRA Registration Significant Emergency Medicine experience at CMO IC level ALS2 required Comfortable supervising junior doctors and coordinating ED flow Australian working rights What's Provided: Up to $250 p/hr depending on experience Accommodation and travel provided Fleet car available for use during work hours Smooth credentialing and admin support Location - Murrumbidgee NSW: The region offers a warm community feel and an easy lifestyle, with great food, local wine, open spaces and scenic drives.
